HCW proudly announces that The Foundry Room is now open at the DoubleTree by Hilton Evansville, introducing an elevated Southern-inspired dining experience in downtown Evansville. The opening was celebrated this week with an official ribbon cutting ceremony attended by city officials, community leaders, and project partners.
Speakers at the event included Doug Rosepapa, HCW Vice President of Operations; Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry; and Lloyd Winnecke, President and CEO of the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP). Following remarks, officials joined leadership to cut the ribbon and officially welcome guests to The Foundry Room.
Following the ceremony, guests attended an opening reception to experience the new concept firsthand, featuring live music, handcrafted cocktails, and a preview of The Foundry Room’s elevated Southern cuisine. Highlights of the evening included the restaurant’s signature Willard Library Fried Chicken, a standout dish inspired by one of Evansville’s most iconic landmarks and reflective of the concept’s connection to local history.
The Foundry Room draws inspiration from Evansville’s industrial roots, transforming quality ingredients into classic American dishes with the same dedication to craft that built the city. Our kitchen is our forge, and our tables are where connections are cast. Handcrafted dishes and thoughtfully designed spaces honor the city’s heritage while offering a fresh, approachable dining experience.
“We’re excited to officially open The Foundry Room and invite the community to experience our elevated Southern cuisine,” said Rick Huffman, President & CEO of HCW. “This concept celebrates Evansville’s history while delivering a bold, welcoming menu for breakfast, dinner, and special occasions.”
