HCW Hospitality to Manage Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North, a New Luxury Golf Resort Opening Fall 2026

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA (JUNE 15, 2026)

HCW Hospitality, a nationally recognized hospitality management company with more than 33 years of experience developing and operating award-winning hotels and resorts, has partnered with MBA Development Partners to bring Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North to life. Scheduled to open in Fall 2026, Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North will redefine group golf travel in North Scottsdale, combining luxury accommodations, resort-style amenities, and access to one of Arizona's most celebrated golf destinations, Troon North.

Located adjacent to Troon North Golf Club, Scottsdale Golf Retreat will feature 31 luxury accommodations, including 20 four-bedroom, four-bath suites and 11 expansive double-occupancy suites. Designed specifically for golf foursomes and group travel, the boutique property will cater to corporate retreats, bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding groups, and travelers seeking a more social and connected alternative to a traditional resort experience.

Developed by Scottsdale-based MBA Development Partners, the project was envisioned to meet the growing demand for elevated golf travel experiences that combine luxury accommodations, personalized service, and access to premier golf destinations. The partnership with HCW brings extensive hospitality expertise, sales and marketing capabilities, revenue management, and operational leadership to the property.

Situated on a 2.7-acre site adjacent to Troon North Golf Club, the retreat will feature eight architecturally distinctive buildings thoughtfully integrated into the surrounding Sonoran Desert landscape. Natural boulder formations, native desert vegetation, and contemporary desert-inspired architecture will create an authentic Scottsdale experience unlike any other.

Guests will enjoy a collection of resort-style amenities centered around connection and shared experiences, including the Hangout Pool Lounge, which includes a resort-style pool, outdoor kitchen and grilling area, fire feature, and gathering spaces designed for relaxation, entertainment, and celebration. The Hangout Pool Lounge will serve as the social hub of the property, creating the perfect setting for post-round gatherings, private events, celebrations, and memorable Scottsdale getaways.

Unlike traditional resorts, Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North has been purposefully designed to bring groups together. Spacious four-bedroom suites allow guests to stay together while enjoying the privacy and comfort of luxury accommodations, while the two queen bed suite provides an ideal option for smaller groups. Each suite will feature luxurious bedding, spa-inspired bathrooms, wet bars, beverage centers with a ice machine, premium finishes, and private patios or balconies showcasing the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and expansive fairway views.

As part of the guest experience, HCW will work closely with Troon® to connect guests with premier golf experiences at Troon North Golf Club and other Troon-affiliated courses throughout the Scottsdale area. Through its partnership with Troon, Scottsdale Golf Retreat will offer guests 365-day access to preferred tee times at Troon North, ensuring priority access to one of the nation's premier golf facilities. Customized stay-and-play packages will provide seamless access to some of Arizona's most celebrated golf destinations while maintaining the personalized service and boutique atmosphere that will define Scottsdale Golf Retreat.
